Once you submit the change request, you're able to update and redraw your 401k plan documents right away.
You do not need a new Trust Name or Trust Tax ID number if you change the adopting employer. Once your documents are up to date, you’re all set!
Plan updates are free for Solo 401k Core members, except converting to a specialized plan (Controlled Group, Multi-owner, or Minor plan), which has a one-time $500 fee.
